Hearing Pathways welcomes referrals from a wide range of health, education and allied health professionals. We provide specialist assessment, clear written reports and collaborative working to support the best outcomes for the people you refer.
Who we accept referrals from
Referral pathways
Paediatric audiology
Specialist hearing assessment for babies, children and young people of all ages and presentations, including those with additional needs or complex developmental profiles.
Adult diagnostic audiology
Comprehensive hearing assessment for adults, including speech understanding testing, tinnitus assessment and onward ENT referral where indicated.
Listening and APD assessment
Specialist auditory processing assessment for children and adults where listening difficulties are not fully explained by the audiogram.
Hearing and listening technology
Independent assessment and fitting of hearing aids, remote microphone systems and other assistive listening technology.
Reports and communication
We provide comprehensive written reports following all assessments, with clear findings, interpretation and recommendations. We are happy to liaise directly with referring professionals and to contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions where appropriate.
